Community Manager
About the Job
Bizzy’s Community Manager will possess an amazing vision for Bizzy’s Brand and its Community of Bizzy Fanatics.
The Community Manager will be the thought-leader – and day-to-day manager – for Bizzy’s Consumer-facing “communities” including our Rewards (Loyalty) program, social media, Influencer programs, and Brand collabs.
Responsibilities include daily management of all our Rewards program, concepting and creation of social media content, and growing our Bizzy community.The Community Manager will take a lead role in developing and executing Rewards program promotions and ROI analysis, member acquisition and retention strategies, and Loyalty microsite and vendor management. Additionally, this vendor will manage the social media calendar and content across Bizzy’s owned social channels, including posts, reels, videos and community engagement that fit our unique brand personality.
The Community Manager will provide ongoing metrics and evaluate weekly KPI’s to asses performance of all necessary channels.
This person will also manage relationships with external partners including Brand partners, Influencers and vendors, and collaborate closely with Bizzy’s Graphic Designer and VP of Marketing.
This role will report directly to the VP of Marketing.
Responsibilities

- BE the EYES, EARS, VOICE of the BRAND across all social media platforms, Bizzy Rewards and our community of Bizzy fans and brand collaborations.
- CONCEPT - Develop creative concepts, promotions, content and engagement ideas for social platforms and Bizzy Rewards to meet our unique brand personality.
- DEVELOP - Conceptualize and elaborate on rough ideas to bring our Brand to life across social mediums and marketing programs
- ENGAGE - With our existing community of Bizzy fanatics and brand partners.
- REACH - New Bizzy people, communities, and brands to extend our reach, grow our community, and develop new partnerships.
- COORDINATE and EXECUTE – Rewards promotions, marketing calendar, brand collabs, influencer and media kits, photo shoots (including scheduling and attending, shot list development, photographer, and prop coordination), consumer insights and more.
- EDIT – Simple retouches and enhancements of photos and graphics as needed to support social content.
- TRACK – Important marketing program and social activity details such as KPI’s, marketing calendar, and timelines.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Uncanny ability to understand our Brand identity, and further develop our fresh look across all social media platforms and our loyalty program.
- In-depth knowledge with Loyalty programs and promotions.
- The skills to create a huge portfolio of Bizzy content for all Bizzy social media.
- Proven success developing Influencer and UGC strategies and ongoing management of campaigns.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Amazing people skills and a passion for engaging and communicating with new people.
- Passion for and knowledge of trends in social media and loyalty programs – and a willingness to execute new ideas at Bizzy!
- The ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects is a must, while being able to prioritize work accordingly.
- Ability to research vendors and external partners, and coordinate contracts and logistics, as needed.
- Technical ability to build and create content from scratch.
- An eye for on-brand, unique, amazing creative (while paying attention to the details).
- Willingness to learn new skills required for the job, such as loyalty program software and promotional programs, new social platforms, design tools and AI software.
- A passion for collaborations and identifying brand partnership opportunities with influencers and brands across categories, including food and beverage, beauty, fashion, home, and more.
- Flexible nature with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and shift seamlessly as business needs change.
- Proactive about approaching obstacles, accountable for results willing to dig into problem and issue resolution. Creative and effective critical thinking skills are necessary.
Education and Experience
- BA degree in English, Communications, PR, Journalism, or another related field
- 3-5 years of proven consumer packaged goods experience, specifically with loyalty programs and social media
Physical Requirements
- The Community Manager role is an office position, with flexibility to work from home on occasion.
- Occasional commute to photoshoots and vendors when needed.
- Occasional handling and mailing of Bizzy items, such as influencer kits, Loyalty program mailings and more.
